"Every Day is Earth Day"Walks in 2009

These pictures are from HTAA's "Every Day is Earth Day" Walks in 2009! The first Walk of the year was in Miami, Florida on 8th St. (Calle Ocho) on August 15, 2009. It was very cold That day and we arrived two hours late due to traffic problems.But we arrived at the right time as we found out as we walk down through the streets of Atlanta GA the sidewalks & streets grew more and more crowed. Come to find out There was a "Halloween Parade" that day as well we were not expecting that at all. But we marched on through the parade getting mixed reactions but most were good! After all of the walking we ended the walk at Freedom Park. The finale was when we enter the parade yelling "No planet no nuthin".All in all the walk was a huge success.
